The solution for high water pressure is to install a pressure reducing valve on the pipe that brings water into your house. So if the pressure is higher than 60 PSI you need to fix that first.
But just as important, water pressures higher than 60 PSI can cause a lot of other plumbing problems too. Pressures higher than 60 PSI can be the source of the noise problem.
